I do wonder, though, if Liszt's flamboyant songs are ideal for a 'restrained' baritone. Don't these pieces need more glamour? (I adore the Pavarotti version of "Pace non trovo", but also the Margarete Price version.) Anyway, good to know that a new series is underway.
